Changelog
Features
What's new on Clan Umbra — features and bug fixes — and how to use them. You see entries for your access level (public / guest). Staff-only tooling is hidden from guests and members.
Game uptime / status checker
EveryonegamesstatusdiscordSee whether curated public games look up, degraded, or down on Games — Discord is notified when status flips.
How to use
- Open Games — the Game status section lists monitored titles with up / degraded / down badges.
- Featured game cards also show a status badge when that title is monitored.
- Sources are publisher status pages (for example Epic Statuspage for Fortnite, WoW’s public realm-status page) — not raw pings.
- When a monitored game flips between up, degraded, and down, Umbra posts a Discord alert automatically.
Hero crest trading-card member backs
EveryonehomerosterThe spinning homepage crest now flips to collectible member cards — avatar, genres, tenure, and activity value.
How to use
- Open Home and watch the crest spin — the back is a dark/gold trading card for each approved clan person.
- Cards show profile avatar, role, genre tags from Profile, how long you’ve been registered, and Value / Active days.
- Value and Active climb once per UTC day when your name is in the crest rotation (first homepage load that day).
- Guests and disabled accounts stay out of the cycle; members, admins, and webmasters are included.
Hero crest includes admins and webmasters
Bug fixEveryonehomerosterThe homepage crest name cycle now includes admins and webmasters alongside members — not members only.
What changed
- On the home page, watch the crest card flip — backs cycle clan handles for active members, admins, and webmasters.
- Guests, pending requests, and disabled accounts stay excluded.
No duplicate game titles in the catalog
Bug fixEveryonegamessteamprofileSteam imports and curated catalog entries that shared a title are merged so Games and the profile picker show each game once.
What changed
- Open Games or Profile → game picker — each title should appear only once.
- If you had both a curated and Steam copy selected, they map to the same canonical game.
- Link Steam from Profile anytime; matching imports update the existing row instead of creating a twin.
Change your sign-in email
EveryoneprofileaccountUpdate the address you use to sign in from your profile — confirmation goes to the new inbox.
How to use
- Open Profile from the account menu (top right).
- In the Change email section, enter your new address twice and submit.
- Check the new inbox for a confirmation link. Your sign-in email updates only after you confirm.
- A short security notice is also sent to your previous inbox. Your full email is never shown on the roster or public pages.
Link Steam to your profile
EveryoneprofilesteamrosterConnect Steam so your persona and avatar can appear on the roster, and import matching games into your picker.
How to use
- Go to Profile and find the Steam section.
- Choose Link Steam and approve the OpenID login with Steam.
- After linking, review the game picker — imported titles are suggestions; only games you select show on the roster.
- You can unlink Steam anytime. Steam IDs stay private; the public roster only shows persona, avatar, and profile link when linked.
Link Discord to your profile
EveryoneprofilediscordrosterConnect Discord to show your handle, roles, and online status on the public roster.
How to use
- Open Profile and use Link Discord in the Discord section.
- Authorize Umbra, then return to the site. Join the Umbra Discord server if you have not already.
- Use Refresh on the card if roles or presence look stale.
- Roster cards show Discord badges and status for linked members — never your email.
Delete your account
EveryoneprofileaccountPermanently remove your Umbra account from your profile when you are ready to leave.
How to use
- Open Profile and scroll to Delete account.
- Confirm the prompt carefully — this cannot be undone.
- If you are the only webmaster, promote another webmaster first; the site blocks sole-webmaster deletion to protect admin access.
Games catalog from what members play
EveryonegamesrosterThe Games page highlights titles clan members marked on their profiles, with who plays each one.
How to use
- Visit Games in the main nav to see active titles drawn from member profiles.
- Open a game for details, Discord channel links when available, and related events.
- Members: set the games you play under Profile → game picker so they appear on your roster card and help drive the catalog.
Public clan roster
EveryonerosterBrowse approved members and leadership — handles, roles, bios, genres, games, and linked Discord/Steam when shared.
How to use
- Open Roster from the primary nav.
- Click a member card for more detail. Emails and legal names are never shown.
- Guests who want to appear on the roster: request Member access from Profile; an admin reviews requests.
Request member access
EveryoneguestmembersSigned-in guests can ask to join the roster; admins approve from the Members queue.
How to use
- After you create an account you start as a guest.
- On Profile, choose Request member access (or complete the welcome flow if prompted).
- While pending, your request is visible to staff. Once approved, you appear on the roster and unlock member areas like Mods & Tools and Server Info.
